Located on the picturesque Huandao Road in Xiamen, the International Conference Center Hotel occupies a prime location just steps away from the main venue of the 28th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. Inspired by a "luxury cruise ship," the 325-meter-long architectural marvel resembles a grand vessel docked along the coast. Designed in collaboration with the BRICS Nightscape Lighting Team, its facade transforms into a radiant spectacle after dusk, featuring "Silk Road porthole" motifs and geometric golden light arrays that evoke the maritime legacy of ancient trade routes.

The hotel boasts 270-degree panoramic ocean-view suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious terraces overlooking azure waters and golden sands. At its heart lies the lobby's centerpiece – the "Rhythm of the Ocean" kinetic installation. Measuring 4m x 3.5m x 3.5m (L x W x H), this monumental chandelier comprises four sets of stainless steel frameworks supporting double-sided textured acrylic panels. Gradient shades of blue and green mirror the ocean’s depth, while a precision-engineered light refraction system projects undulating wave patterns through 16 custom LED spotlights.

Innovatively powered by a heavy-duty silent drive mechanism, the installation rotates gracefully at one revolution per 40 seconds, supported by ultra-precision bearings for whisper-quiet operation. Unlike conventional lighting, this non-emissive artwork creates ever-changing chromatic interplay through reflected light. As natural and artificial illumination intertwine, its surfaces transition between emerald greens and peacock blues, crafting a dynamic, immersive spatial experience.
Since its debut, this "breathing" light sculpture has captivated countless gazes. Its harmonious dialogue with the building’s nautical architecture bridges historical maritime culture with cutting-edge design, paying tribute to the Maritime Silk Road while redefining the innovative dimensions of contemporary hospitality artistry.

The maximum load capacity of the heavy-duty engine and bearings is 800KG, and the net weight of the device is 400KG. Add lubricating oil for maintenance once every 18 months.

Due to the particularity of the hotel's basic installation points, special embedded parts need to be custom-made and installed on the ceiling.
